Walmart is becoming more of a tech companyβlike Amazon. What is your businessβs strategy? In general, the future of retail belongs to tech. Main Street business that donβt have good tech are gonna struggle and likely fail.
"Fifty percent of men and 40 percent of women indicated they like human interaction in brick-and-mortar locations. Furthermore, about a third of women weren't comfortable with the notion that human jobs were eliminated in favor of technology."
This statistic (from TotalRetail) suggests that many consumers want people involved in e-commerce. Fortunately, that's Bridge's plan: merge e-commerce with Main Street businesses.

Bridge likes helping Main Street businesses. We also like helping them avoid huge expenses. It's hard for us to imagine after just two years having to close 133 stores, fire 17,600 people, and lose $2 B. Bridge is proud to say that almost everyone makes a profit with us. And those that don't, they may lose the price of a coffee. They don't lose massively like Target.
